The only injector cleaner proven to work I believe is Chevron Techron.
Some will swear by BG products too.
I just use Shell Gasoline.
Yes, you should do the Cabin Air Filter, you'll notice the difference immediately and it is good for you. But it shouldn't cost that much. I think I replaced my Cabin air filter at 15,000 miles as part of a scheduled maintenance and these are under $100 as part of the usual (tire rotation, Fuel Synthetic oil change, inspections etc)
