Any way for a senior member to start one? I saw the Gen Sign in thread. Maybe a Sticky Gen 6 Newbie thread?

Thanks for your help!
Here is your Gen 6 newbie thread.
Newbies please read before posting!

This is all a noob needs to know. Search before posting. Whether its a sticky or not, noobs wont see it (see...you asked for a sticky, its posted and you didnt even see it). We dont mean search once and thats it. Try different keywords whether it be 1 word or multiple words. If after all options fail, than post the question. It might be posted already and you might of missed it during search..thats fine. Noobs think, I'll search once, cant find it, post it and think someone will tell them. When someone says search, they get all defensive and pissed. Thats how forums are..whether it be TN, music forum, game forum or any forum. Not everything is spoon fed.

Everyone is a newbie whether it be with cars or forums. Eventually, we all learn. There is always going to be stupid questions but its a matter if its been searched before being asked. Considering the car has been out for a while and majority of the basic knowledge applies to all cars, it shouldnt be that hard.

As for the air box. Just go to your car, open the hood and look for the 2-3 screws. Get a screwdriver, take those screws out, remove air filter, replace with new filter, put back screws and done. If you know how to turn a screwdriver, thats as hard as it gets. The amount of time you wait, you could of done it yourself. You cant learn if you dont find out for yourself.

I'm not handy myself as I'm the type that is afraid to break things as this is my first car that I call my own. But I do my own oil change, changed my air filter, changed my interior light bulbs, swapped taillights and headlights and even put on my TRD exhaust. I even soldered for the first time when I made my cathode kit for my trunk. All with the help of DIYs from the forums or friends.
