How long did you leave it disconnected for? Try leaving it for about 30 min so you're sure the system is completely discharged. Rule of thumb is about 5min but I do 15. Usually I unhook it and just leave it off until I need to go somewhere.

You'll need to reset your sunroof and windows when you reset the ecu. Are you familiar with that process? ...if not, I can explain it.

If you are still getting the cel, you're going to need to replace the stock intake and take it to a dealership to have them look at it. Unfortunately the MAF sensor is very fragile in our cars ... its unusually fragile. I broke my first one. Had it replaced under warranty and have been fine since. I remove the new one every time I need to get to the SC's bypass valve and its been fine. I am extremely careful every time I have to touch it.
