Usually they just need cleaning and regreasing. If internal parts are damaged, they've really been abused. I beat the heck out of my trucks offroad and have never broken a hub. The spring inside hasn't even worn out. But you can get replacement parts.
Just make sure you don't get hubs from a solid axle mini-truck, they won't fit even though they look the same.
