4age block, as long as its the 7 rib, is bullet proof
LSD is desirable but not required, u'll just have a problem with wheel spin and traction
being that is a small motor u can't go with a huge power adder like on the supras or probably even the mr2 turbo, u might want to go with a gt25, gt30, even a upgraded ct26 is good, but a t3/t4 would probably be best, low lag and lots of air movement
Motech's expensive, but u pay for what u get. IMO go with a tec2, or speedpro or some other good standalone, they do have good ones out there for cheaper than motech's
