My noise does go away almost immediately...far before I come to a stop. But I do have just under 40,000 miles of warranty left, and wouldn't exactly mind a new transmission! LOL.
Only problem is the Enterprise that the dealer gets their loaners from would have a horrible base model red Chevy Cobalt with my name on it...
It is reassuring to hear that others have this same noise. I've just never heard it in a car before, and so far as I can tell, nothing is malfunctioning. Just if it is a problem, I want to make sure its taken care of while I have a warranty.
