Problem solved, cut the wire that lights the idiot light.

For future reference:

TO DISABLE THE LAMP FAILURE IDIOT LIGHT, SIMPLY CUT THE SMALL YELLOW WIRE W/ GREEN TRACER FROM THE LAMP FAILURE BOX.
