Yep.. I actually hit 300,000km today on my car, so I'll be looking into timing belt/water pump replacement. My car has the actual Km's marked on the side of the motor when the belt was replaced the last 2 times.. 99,000 the first time, and 198,000km the second time.

Like I said.. its "recommended" by Toyota and other manufacturers that you change your TB's at every 100,000km/60,000mi but its really up to you whether you want to change it or not. It will really depend on the condition of the belt and how you treat your engine as to how long the belt will last. I've seen cars go almost 150,000 km before the TB broke.. by then its too late, so better be safe than sorry.
