Good info. Thanks. Yes, the LF-A engine has direct injection, as per the Chief Engineer.
What are the racing statistics so far for the LF-A?? Did it run the fastest single lap in the Nurburgring 23 hour endurance race??
I was amazed when the Chief Engineer said that the car reaches from 1000 to 9000 rpm so fast that the no analog tachometer can keep up so they decided build a completely digital gauge cluster. That is so cool.
Ferrari engines typically do not sound nearly the best in exotics. The Ferrari F430 does not sound nearly as good as the Porsche Carrera GT. Maybe because it is a V8 vs V10. The LF-A sounds even better than the Porsche Carrera GT. Even at 9000 rpm, it will not sound nearly as good.
Pretty much, LF-A is the best sounding car I have ever heard.

But consider, the 5.7L Carrera GT V10 produces only 435lb-ft and is nearly a liter larger. I think its output is quite impressive. Liter per liter, the LFA produces 73.75 lb-ft, while the Carrera GT does 76.31 lb-ft. Overall, not bad.
