What is the cheapest model that would alow me to get seating for eight? Also what is the cheapest model that would allow me to choose the interior color? Thanks

Any model with the 2nd row bench seat will allow for 8 passengers, in theory! It would be a tight squeeze to fit 3 in the back row, but it could be done if they were kids.

Must be for 3rd Gen only, because 2nd Gen is only 7 with that back seat...

Yes, I was referring to the 3rd gen. being able to seat 8 ... the 3 passengers in the 3rd row have to be tiny, though!
My 1st gen. only seats 5, but it's the perfect size, IMO!

Do you hate 3 of the passengers? Otherwise I see a fullsize SUV or minivan in your future...

LE is cheapest model that will seat 8, however, third row is a bit cramped, so, have your passengers check it out first.
Re interior colors, choice of black or grey fabric in that model. Other choices include engine type (4 or 6) and FWD or AWD.

The answer to seating eight is a Sequoia, not a Highlander....not even a Gen 3.
