Yes, I was sitting in my driveway while the engine was running in park and I turned around to reach something in the back seat and my knee hit the 4x4 shifter and grinded gears.

My last truck didnt have that shifter, just a nob on the dash. So im not familar with this type.

After I hit the shifter with my knee I wasnt exactly sure where it should be. N, H, or L. So I put it in N and it grinded again. That's when I pulled my instruction manual out and read it should be in the bottom posistion. High I believe while normal driving.

I'll will most likely never use 4x4 High or low. But it scared the **** out of me being it's brand new and grinding the gears isnt a good thing.
