I have detroits front and rear and love mine. the guy who put mine in my truck told me that sometimes the locker may not disengage at times so some tire noise would be normal while turning. I haven't had any trouble with mine unlocking yet but my friend who had his done at the same guy and has the same build has his stay locked in while turning giving him some tire noise and wear. Just wanted to let you know what you are subject to putting in a locker.
