2012 Camry SE illuminated door sills

Has anyone purchased the Camry illuminated door sills? If so did you install them? They look sharp and illuminate in the blue color like the dash.

I wasn't impressed by the way I had to do my Accord wiring, I bought the sills and and saw how it was and decided not to do it. Now that I have the camry I am interested in doing it so I am hoping that it is pre wired too, but I know its not going to be... (still crossing fingers..)

I've done a lot of things to my cars, but looking at those instructions, I can already foresee the newspaper headlines, "Man Blows up entire City Wiring Camry for illuminated Door Sills"

I think I'll buy these this time and pay to have them installed, as long as they cost under $370 for parts and install it will be cheaper then dealer...

From the dealer they are currently $1 cheaper! I have to find a good mechanic before buying these and see what they will charge for it. I am not averse to doing it myself, but its scary touching a new car like that...

Im porobably the farthest thing from someone that can mess with wiring. With the instructions, took less than an hour. Straight forward with not crazy tools required. THEY LOOK AWESOME

Yeah, I just orderd some none OEM , third party, door sills from ebay seller name : ABravePig.

She/they produce alot of door sills for other cars.

I checked out some ford f150 forms and chargers and they're quality is pretty good, close to OEM.

One thing about their item is that they have two types of mounting. One has 3M tape (hell no) and the latter is they way the OEM attaches, with the holes.

I ordered those. Purchased through email to avoid ebay fees and she cut me a 15% discount even though ebay only charges 10% of total transaction.

here is her email:
long_see@qq.com

I'll post pictures of my door sills when they come in from China (probably 1-2 weeks)

Edit:

I saw the installation instructions posted. Thats much harder than necessary.

You can just tap into the open door senors. I'll post pictures and a guide when I do mine.

I sent seller an email asking if it would fit the '12 TCH.

He answered email back so eloquently with 2 words "not fit".

Let me see if I could find the link, it's on EBay.
