Question 2012 Camry 4-cyl H&R Lowering Springs Released?

Hi All,

Has H&R springs for 2012s been released? I found this item on Ebay. Not sure if it's legit. I've found posts for 2012 Camry springs only to find it to be for 2007-2011 camrys. The part number and drop heights seem to be correct. I'm still a bit skeptical. What do you guys think?

2012 Camry 4-cyl H&R Lowering Springs Released?

H&R even has it on their website but it doesn't look to be available yet. Personally, if the company itself hasn't released it I would be a little skeptical about an eBay seller.
But just a heads up, I read a post saying that TRD should be releasing springs around March.

2012 Camry 4-cyl H&R Lowering Springs Released?

Hey I could be very wrong but I'm hoping H&R would hurry up and stop making us wait! The TRD's aren't confirmed, just something I read from another users post

I spoke to H&R and the saying release late Feb. They have been saying this for over a year now and still no springs. Don't get why its taking so long to get them out there. I know coil overs from the gen 6 cars are a direct bolt on to the 2012+ cars though

^ H&R does!! Model is Sport Spring especially made for the 2012 CAMRY SE i4 the Part number is 54686 lowers the front 1.4 inches and 1.3 on the rear. 2012 Camry SE V6 Part number is 54686-2. They both retail for 349.99.
I found the i4 H&R Sport springs on ebay for 279.99 last week.

MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE EXACT PART NUMBER WHETHER YOU HAVE i4 or V6 and dont let ebay trick you because sellers on ebay state they work for 07-12 yes it would work however you will have to do some customizing to it and not worth it and its last gens specs not specs for out 7th gen.

Anybody find a manufacturer that makes lowering springs for the 2012 Camry? I've called Tien, H&R, Megan, B&G and they all said its in R&D at the moment. I can't seem to find anybody that makes them. Please help!

1.3 drop in rear and 1.4 in the front.. but they can average up to 2 inches of drop.. I mean how much lower would you want to go? H&R are known to be the nicest looking sportiest springs on market with a slight dip in the front. Eibach for example are a even drop and typically the rear is lowrr than front(not like its available for 7th gen). H&R is the best quality performance springs on the market.

Thanks for the info John. I class H&R yesterday and they said they don't have them available because they are in R&D still. Maybe I talked to the wrong person over there??? I guess I will try giving them a call back in regards to the part number you had left and go from there. BTW: your white Camry looks dope man!

**John**

By chance did you change the stock shocks with aftermarket shocks? If used the stock shocks, how did they feel and perform.

Thanks
David

David,

I just ordered my H&R Sport Springs and will take 7-10 business days to receive! When I get them and install them I will definitely let you know! Without any doubt H&R does make a high quality product and being that they are specifically made to my model and year, I am sure they will be bliss! I am going to keep my stock shocks

*Cannot wait to take pictures so we can all see the drop with V6 wheels as I have yet to come across my setup in a drop anywhere on the web.
