Noise after 4" lift install

Had a 4" pro comp lift and 33" pro comp m/t's put on my '86 4runner by 4 wheel parts store.
Driving over 40mph I get a noise just before and just after letting off gas. It is constant if I put it in neutral and coast over 40.
Store dude says its normal driveline noise due to pitch of shaft and will do no harm.
Anyone else experience this?
They are going to put in 2 degree shims next week to see if it will cut down on noise.
