what toyota needs to develop is a sporty AWD coupe or small sedan with around 200 HP or more, preferrably Turbocharged

i think teh xB (Bb there) is only available in 1NZ and 2NZ (echo engine, and a 1.3L echo engine basically) there.
i think the iTS has an option of like 1NZ, 2NZ, and 3SGE. or maybe i've got that backwards.
i'm too lazy to check the japan website, but it's all on there. and it's easy to navigate without any knowledge of japanese. just guess and check, that's what i do

Actually, that might not be such a good idea. The car you describe would fall right into Subaru WRX territory. Toyota doesn’t have a good history of trying to fight with cars that have already developed a market niche; for example the FX16 GTS versus the VW GTI. Also, previous Toyota all-trac cars weren’t exactly big sellers, and the current AWD Matrix is already circling the drain.
