Do Not Buy Purolator Air filter for your scion!

Just a warning. I changed the Air filter on my sister's 2005 xA and the gasket is too thick making it hard or impossible to get both clamps on. I'm trading it in for a Toyota OEM filter where the gasket is thinner making it a snap to clamp. Yes, I am aware of the little tab on the gasket that needs to be aligned with the air box.

Just be carefull with any oiled air filter. Overoiling(which is very common) can destroy your mass airflow sensor and cost you quite a bit of money.

^^Why

Are They paying you? Will they give you a lifetime supply of filters for your help and time?
Unless you are getting some kind of compensation, leave it be.

They'll soon realize no one is buying thier products and do market research to find out why, They'll spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to get it right but you wont get dollar one for your troubles.

P.S. FWIW, I wouldn't put any purolator product on my scion in the first place. Most of the time, OE is cheaper then aftermarket anyway.
