Scion has a web page up now
www.scion.com
I tried to email them to ask if they had any plans on a release of a FR car but their e-mail seems not to be working. I tried e-mailing them a few time today and it was not going through at all.

Toyota's 'Scion' youth brand not for Canada

Toronto, Ontario - Toyota Canada officials announced yesterday that U.S. news stories about Toyota's planned 'Scion' youth-oriented marketing project do not apply to Canada.

"When it comes to the sale and distribution of Toyota vehicles, Canada and the United States are two unique and separate countries," said Tony Wearing, Group Vice President of Vehicle Sales and Marketing of TCI. "Scion is an American story about U.S. marketing and product strategies and we have no plans to introduce Scion to Canada," he added.

Toyota Canada is currently in the midst of our own "made in Canada" marketing activity called Access Toyota whose purpose is to improve the purchase and ownership experience of Toyota customers in Canada.

i was watching TV and this cool, hip commercial comes on. lots of color, good music, the girl's driving the car nice and quick around the bends. i'm like "wow... i like this new Toyota Matrix ad!". the girl gets out of her car... gets the groceries out... a good looking guy comments on her car... and it's a... a... SUZUKI AERIO!

dang... Toyota needs to get their act together. get an old Fu-Man-Chu guy to say "zoom-zoom". or a girl to pop-lock to breakbeats. or convert the backend into a tent so you can go camping in the wilderness. ummm, ok... maybe not the last point.

but you know what i mean.

peace
