so i am right to say that the xa and xb have 1.5 L DOHC engines that put out 108 hp. That is weak. A honda 1.6 L VTEC engine can put out 160 hp. The a 1.8 L has 180 or 190 (gsr or type R). so to say that .2 L can increase 20 -30 hp, so then .1 should be 10-15 hp. So why does the scion not put out at least 130 hp.
Scions look cool and all, but with all show and no go, what do they expect to happen
the xa and xb should put out at least 130 it should put out more like 140. And there's a supercharger for it, that increases it to what like 130. wow, wimpy supercharger. So with the supercharger you could win against a astro van and maybe a geo
Not to mention they have an aftermarket that can make Camry owners jealous. I'm not saying they're better than us, or we're better than them, but damn. You gotta at least respect them.
^ more than MPG than MPH, hello the xA and xB's don't get that good of milage. I am pretty sure that a Toyota Prius is faster than an xA or xB . Plus those hybrids get lots of MPG.
Two different concepts...Toyota Vitz/Scion xA and Toyota bBx/Scion xB are about cars that look like something phat to drive. Prius is a showcase for new technology/new automotive engineering that'll produce cars that have lower to no emissions and eventually less dependence on oil. It's more viable to do that now than it is to bank on hydrogen/fuel cell engines.
