Should I or Shouldn't I

I have been thinking of things that I want to do to my Tc for awhile now and i think I want to buy some strobes for my headlights and taillights. I don't want those cheap pos strobes you can get for like 20 to 40 bucks but I want the real deal Whelen undercover police issued strobes. Do you guys think I should spend the extra bucks and get the good ones or go with what most over tuners would get? Thanks again, need some quidance please help. Cory.

Go with the police issue ones.

1. they are more durable
2. not everyone has them
3. they will be brighter.

Spend the extra dinero and get the good ones

the ones i was thinking about were theseWhelen Hide-A-Way strobe lights

the only problem is that i took a look at the lights on my tC and I believe that there is not enough room in those headlights for strobe lights because you have to drill one inch hole just to pop those bad boys in. Oh well if any of you guys believe that I would be able put those in let me know because I need all the help I can get on this one. I really want those strobes but like I said I do not believe they will fit, anywayz take a look tell me what you think and any and all advise can and will help... Thanks again, Cory.

JustMyLuck,

If you haven't bought your Whelen kit yet I would highly recommend it. I just installed Whelens 90 Watt Hide-A-Way system in my '03 Celi this weekend. They are super bright.

As far as strobe placement, Whelen suggests installing them in the main light housing but you don't necessarily have to...if you have any location in the light assembly with 1" of unused reflector space you should be good...if you'd want PM me with your email addy and I'll shoot you some pics...I would suggest looking at www.lshlights.net when ordering. They're the cheapest I've found.
