Nope, not legal anywhere. Don't get caught with them on. $115 ticket here in MN.

I had blue neons under my car for around a year. Blue and red are illegal in Georgia according to the cop that pulled me over last. I live in Tennessee and have never been pulled over for them, so I assume that they are legal. I called my local police station once and asked them if they are legal or not and they said they didn't know.

Just ask your local police department. There are different laws for everywhere.

How is a cop supposed to know that it was 4 days since your body kit was installed...you're supposed to have a license plate in the front, and you didn't....can't blame the cop for pulling you over.

Blue and red will almost definitely be illlegal anywhere, the only color I could think of that might be legal is amber, since there are amber lights in front and in back....but I still doubt it's legality. It's the same reason why you can't have different colored blinkers, if someone is driving and they see colored lights in their mirror, they'll think it's an emergency vehicle, which it's not.

I disagree with that, there is a large difference between the lights on an emergency vehicle and some guys blue signal lights. If you cannot distinguish the difference you should not be on the road becuase you will also be misinterpreting other things, like two street lights that are a block appart and two different colors, mabee they will read the wrong one and go thru the red light.

Definately not. I have neons for show, and I know they don't make my car any faster. They make it look cooler. Personal opinion. That's not rice.

I think the color only changes on the 6CD in dash systems... which is optional
