Flint Mica vs. Black Sand Pearl

I like these two colors but on the Scion website it is very difficult to distinguish the two. Does anyone have pics of their tC's with these colors so I can compare? I am aware that in real it may be easier to differentiate.

The difference is the Black Sand Pearl looks like black sand with pink sparkles in the sun. Flint Mica has a Jet Black appericance. It's a shame the camera lens can't pick up what the naked eye sees.

Flint Mica looks more like a charcoal and in the sun it has a hint of purple. That just my take

I have flint mica...and I see arguments for both. On the one hand you have the black which is universally a more common color. But, I have seen waay more flint mica tCs out there than black. You might think that's perception because I might notice it more since I have it. But, I haven't seen a single black one yet! And I've easily seen 7 flint micas! So, you want the nicer looking one? Get the flint mica (it's got tons of flake). You want the rarer one (get the black). Of course, I could be wrong, obviously my sampling has only been 7 cars and is in no way enough info to go on. You can look for sales figures for that. I hope this helped. Go get the Blue one. That one's hot.

Yeah, Black sand pearl is the one that sparkles in the sun. Flint mica is like a dark gray-ish car (charcoal). JayMC is totally right, because Flint mica looks nice and a very popular color for the Scion tC. If you'd ask my opinion, I would go for Silver, since silver is smooth and never gets out-dated and nice.

Good luck with your choice, if you want to check out the differences go on cardomain.com and look on different tc's or go to a dealer near you.

Haven't been around here much lately.. I've found myself over at yoursciontc.com more often.. hehe

Anyway, if you'd like to see a decent picture of an 06 BSP, here are 2 photos I took of mine last friday when my baby came into the dealer fresh off the truck from Japan. Enjoy.
