Custom E-Brakes

Hey guys, I didn't see anything about this when I searched the forum, so I figured I'd post. I've been reading this forum for a while, but this is my first new topic. FYI, I have an indigo ink pearl tC and loving every minute of it.

Anyways, on to the question...

A friend gave me his OBX ball shifter knob (because he wanted the leather one)... Well that's cool for me, but now every time I look at the emergency brake, I feel like it needs a pickmeup too. ;-) So now I've been looking into getting a replacement for the stock tC emergency brake... Something with a little more going on and a leather cover (boot)... kinda like the first MOMO replacement pictured on the following page (but not for that ridiculous amount if I can help it):

I'm not a fan of MOMO myself, but it's the best I could find... I was wondering if anyone tried to replace the e-brake / add a leather cover -- was it worth the trouble? Any recommendations?

Thanks!
