problem with the sun roof

I was standing next to my scion Tc when I heard a loud noise!

I've seen that the sun roof in the back start creaking around the contact place with the car body!

It cracked in a perfect square!

In the next two hours was all cracked and pieces of it start falling inside the car!

The whole glass start curbing towards the exterior!

I've took the car immediately to the dealer (CHICAGO NORTHSIDE TOYOTA SCION. 5625 North Broadway Chicago IL 60660) which has the worst customer service I have ever seen. A highly uneducated woman was treating me in an unacceptable way! That place sucks! If you buy from there be aware because they wanted to charge me $1200 to replace the sun roof!

Without any investigation they said that either I hit the glass with my fist from the inside or a thunder light stroked! I really take this as an insult!



Did anybody have had a similar problem with the back sun-roof?

I will appreciate any suggestions!
