latest update.....but first i will say thanks for all the response....ok...today...i took auto to one shop...guy was good talker...sold me on a 600 dollar job (valve and head gasket job) on an engine with 200k miles....i was sold until i called another mechanic who specialized in the engine 22r...and he was so angry the first guy was going to do a valve job on a 200k engine block and said just do the head gasket...so know i am just doing the head gasket for 325 dollars......i wish i had enough expertise and patience to rebuild this car for 500 because i would...but i dont know if i want to keep it for so long...///what does anyone think about the different opinions on the jobs the two mechanics are up to.......
