It is similar to that of BMW/Lexus's "ComfortAccess/SmartAccess card" and the access card is about 2/3 of a credit card and it has an effective range of 2-3 meters. This system was built with security in mind: UHF-RFID authentication and rolling code encryption security. This system's security is equivalent to that OEM smart access if not better. It is designed as an universal keyless entry/alarm module that can be adopted onto any vehicle (your OEM remote will still work) and it also has a starter disable relay built-in for multipurpose usage (A hint : option for an aftermarket push-start button!). It also have auto windows/sunroof closing function when it automatically locks. I have one install in my Hyundai and I am loving it!
would you say installing one of these would be similar to an aftermarket alarm system. i use to install basic alarms in factory cars. i have been looking to get a keyless entry and start on my honda s2000 which has a push start already.

Absolutely, it is an anti-theft device as well. It monitors door switches and ignition. If access key is not present when door/engine are open/activated, it will sound alarm, flash hazard lights and disable starter relay.

This device is perfect for push-start too. It has a starter enable output which can be use for the push-start enable. The output is disabled if an valid access key is not present. This give you the security you need for the push start operation.

It's also got a trigger output for optional window closer module as well, so locking and closing windows are done automatically when you leave vehicle.

We are located in Canada and we are new, so let's just we are all about quality and reliability right now.

ADVANCED KEYS,

maybe you could partner up with KP Technologies and release an entire push-start module with the RFID authentication and security

The OP is about getting a keyless entrance for a 2009 LE corolla. Can it be done and if so what is involved and what is the price. I am looking to doing something for cheap. I dont want to install a security system if I can help it. Though I know those things are cheap now adays.

And while i am in the asking mood, anyone know where I can get an after market cruise control for this vehicle?
