How do you like the feel of the DFCO

DFCO... Deceleration Fuel Cutoff

I drove my moms 2009 automatic Corolla, and felt it right away.

When I coast with my 2006 Corolla the car decelerates very slowly, but with my mom's 2009, the car decelerates faster because the DFCO kicks in and the car seems to compress to a halt faster, but at 20 or 40 km/h, forgot which speed, gas is sent to the motor once more and it stops its quick deceleration, and coasts down to a stop normally like my 2006.

Personally, I don't like this DFCO feel, because instead of going further while coasting, it slows down the car a little too fast, and when it will be icy out, won't this make the front wheels tend to block on icy roads, and if you happen to be in an icy curve, the last thing that you want is for your front wheels to block.....then you'll go straight forward and unable to follow the curve, unless you press on the gas slightly to get the wheels turning again.

it takes a little getting used to
and if your mom just got this
the computer hasnt set itself to your foot XD
or it set itself to how your mom drives

when i first got it
it was very noticable
it slowed downslowly so slowly that i thought it wasnt slowing down at all so i step on break a little more only to be greeting with a abrut slowdown
then more coasting
then a slightly less abrupt slowdown to a gradual cost

but now that ive driven it a bit
its adjusted to how i drive
and now is not noticable at all

or maybe its all in my head
and its still there
and ive just got used to it i dont notice it no more =P
either way doesnt bother me no moe

Is that what it is.
I noted it as a fault for the dealer's attention when I'm sending it in for it's first oil change.

DFCO is great in the manual, I just leave it in a higher gear and you can feel it 'let go' and rolls nicely. I also use a scangauge and can see 9999mpg when in DFCO

In Canada we don't see 9999mpg. We see 0 liters / 100 km. I prefer the 9999 mpg....lol

is that thre reason why sometime when I lift up my foot and let go the gas pedal to coast, the rmp drop near the point where the engine tend to be on the verge of shutting down 'choking' almost dying, the headlights diming but actually the engine doesn't die but pick up one second or two later. I find this annoying
