I use Chevron, Shell on my 1 year old LE.
I've never use any gas or oil additive.
Mileage have been consistent throughout. I do mostly rush hour city driving. I get around 32 on a imp. gallon.
Personally I feel the additives with the gas should be enough to keep the injectors and valves clean.
I did replace the engine air intake filter though. OEM.

I think you should've just wrote your update in your other thread...now there's two threads regarding the Corolla's gas mileage...which I'm sure we all know is exceptionally good for the 1.8L and 2.4L respectively...

Canada XRS trip and milage

hey guys, so i am finally back to edmonton after one hell of a frustrating weekend , just wanted to let u know what kind of milage i got using the trd filter plus 3 passengers in the car plus all our baggage. on an average i got about 600 kms for 41L of gas. the car handled really really well on the mountain roads, i never suffered any loss of power, just had to gear down sometimes going up the hill when i broke my speed, on that note...the cruise control was excellent in all conditions....it held the engines speed more constant that i was able to manually up the hills. on corners i was doing 70km turns at 120kms with ease. i'll maybe post some pics later...not the ones everyone wanted to see but atleast something is better than nothing. for the future i don't think i'll be doing anything else to my car...its not worth it. its a corolla and it does what its meant to do. still, i think the XRS is a really fun little car to drive around...couldnt ask for more

There is already an existing thread on this.

Next time please post in the existing thread instead of creating a new one on the same topic.
