Weapon-R Ram Air kit

So I put my Weapon-R in today but as much as I want to use the ram air kit, I'm hesitant because I really don't want water in my engine.

But even if I drove into a deep puddle, I can't imagine that the water would get sucked up the tube. Since it's not the main source of air, it wouldn't create a vacuum and the filter would just take air from under the hood.

Anyone have insight on this? I was looking to run the tube down to the lower front grille. Maybe someone else did the same?
