This is the Canadian tire oil filter I've been using.
It's about $5.00 ish.
I really wish you didn't have to take a panel off to change it, and inevitably when I take off the filter I tend to spill some oil. (there is no way, as far as I can tell to reach it from the top). You must remove the 8 bolts (10mm)
The oil fill is a bit hard to reach too, I kept an old 1Q oil container and cut the bottom off, and a small notch into the left side of the spout, and use this as a funnel. When filling, the oil takes an imediate left turn instead of going down. If you use a funnel there is a tendancy for the funnel to block the exit to the left, and then the oil overflows and makes a mess.
Filling up the oil is WAY harder than it should be.
This makes it a lot easier.

PH3614 looks to be a fram filter. Fram filters are consistenly rated the worst filters in comparative test of oil filters. I wouldn't use a fram on my lawnmower, do your engine a favor and use a decent quality filter. On my '06, I too have been able to get the filter off/on from the top without removing anything else for access. Definitly do get a long stemmed funnel for filling the new oil into the recessed fill hole.
