Did anyone get Goodyear Eagle F1 All-Season factory tires on their Corolla? I was wondering which trim level they are on, also is it available on Corollas sold in Canada?
I found an article talking about these Goodyear tires being used for new Corollas:
When I went to the dealership(Canada) I only saw Bridgestone Turansa EL400 tires, which get some pretty bad reviews.
Edit: After rereading the article I notice that the Eagle F1 All-Season tire size is P215/45R18. 18" wheels are not a factory size for Corolla, must be for the Matrix only... too bad. The other Goodyear tires for 16" and 17" wheels are the Eagle RS-A, which is only an average tire. Better than Goodyear Integritys though I suppose.

Reason: new info.
Bridgestone Turanza EL400's on my S. These are a massive improvement over my last corolla. They put on uniroyal tigerpaws on that car, I can't believe I managed to ride on those for 6 years without incident.

My mom has an 03 'rolla and it, too, came with Uniroyal Tiger Paws...I think my mom put about 50,600km before replacing them...
Anyway, I can't complain about the EL400-02 as they do quite well on dry tarmac...especially cornering
Yeah.. how are the EL400s? I've noticed they're standard on the LE, S and XRS. How are they different from say... the el cheapo Goodyear Integrity or the better Michelin Energy line?

Not much to compare to and havn't pushed the tires too much since the car is still in break-in period, but initial impressions are pretty good. Its been raining for the past 3 days here and no slippage yet. Been on the highway in both dry and wet and they're quiet and ride gentle. No complaints yet.
Once break-in period is over, I'll start to break them loose (if they can) and see how they fare then.
At the dealer, I noticed the LE's (CANADA) were sporting Continental Contiprocontacts? or something like that. While the S/CE were on Turanza's. Perhaps they're even quieter?

It's funny that the 09 CEs I've seen are using Continental tires...To me, those tread pattern is similar to Michelin Energy tires.

hmm?? really? The one I saw had Turanza EL400s (LE Pkg "B").
ContiProContacts are ok. They're used in the smart fortwo and 323i. (I think the higher 3 series get ContiTouringContacts?)
