Wheel size

My 2006 Corolla has 15 x 6jj wheels, and was wondering if it's the same for my mom's 2009 Corolla. She wants 4 winter tires with rims, so I went to a tire store and they told me it's the same size rim as my 2006, and then I went to another tire store and they told me it was not the same rim....even though the tire is the same dimension. She said something about the caliper could be why its not the same rim.

So, can anybody tell me if the 2009 Corolla with the 195 65R 15 tires, uses the same rim as the 2006. I could buy those extra rims at Toyota but maybe it would cost more.

Thanks

OK' I just checked in both books, and for the

2006 Corolla............. the size of the wheel is 15 x 6 jj
2009 Corolla..............the size of the wheel is 15 x 6j

I was also wondering if I bought 4 rims for my 2006 Corolla, and next year, trade for a 2009 Corolla, would my rims fit the 2009 Corolla?

Does the jj compared to j make a big difference?

the 09 corolla has a bolt pattern of 5 x 100. as long as the rims would fit the 5 x 100 bolt pattern i think it doesnt matter whether it is a 6j or a 6jj.

Size and bolt patterns can be same but check for offsets too. Different offset may interfere with steering and fender clearance.
