13 hours? good god. what was the hardest part? 4 bolts hold the rear suspension in and 6 bolts to remove the front. sure there are a few trim pieces to remove but 13 hours sounds like you were trying to remove bolts with your teeth.

i did the front first, no big issues. i took my time and took maybe 3-4 hours. for some reason the first rear strut took me forever to get on and off, i just couldn't get the jacks right or get the spring seat lined up right. that alone was probably 6 hours, which was the bulk of the day. i was nervous about damaging something and the spring compressors i rented sucked. plus, like i said i'm no born mechanic and there's a mistake in the directions which confused the sh*t out of me (it says the picture shows passenger side when it is, in fact, the driver's side). i'm also a large guy and it's not easy to squeeze under my car repeatedly. once i figured out what was going on the last strut only took an hour. enough excuses, it's done! got my new wheels mounted today after 4 months in my garage so i'm stoked, words can't bring me down.

Alright! You've given me the confidence to do it myself. I'll have to pay attention to the passenger/driver side picture.

Good job and thanks!

for the rear spring seat, which I will admit took me the longest time, what i did was assemble the shock with the spring and everything.

but before I removed the spring compressors, i took the whole then and kinda tried to put it on. this helped me to align the upper spring seat.

once i got it aligned, i just tightened down the top nut some more and took off the spring compressors.
