USA Spacing the wheels?!?!

I had a quick question. I dont quite have the funds right now for wheel spacers so I had an idea...

Remove the tire and screw on a set of lugs all the way, put the tire back on then use another set of lugs to keep the tire in place like normal...

That would give about a 1/4 to 3/4 spacing, but I dont think that the bolts would have enough support for the car and they might bend or something.

What do you guys think???

I would suggest just saving up for spacers...you'll save your car in the end.

Saving money this way will cost you much more.
Picture the offset load on the wheel bearings, struts breaking off, camfer changes etc. etc.
