When you say 95 tacoma do you really mean the tacoma or the older pickup? Tacoma's came out at 95.5 and have rack and pinion steering while the older ones have recirculating ball steering. If it's the older one then the idler arm can become worn and you will need to rebuild it or replace it. Toyota makes a rebuild kit that's really cheap.
