Have been searching high and low for a set of DIY instructions on how to remove and replace the glass in the side mirror assembly for a Gen10 Corolla. Anyone have any clues on this?
Why do you need to know? If the old one's broken, removing it should be pretty obvious.
These mirrors are very complicatd, especially if they have the heated mirrors. Again, if it's broken (and not the heated type), pry the old chunks of mirror out, trace the shape with pencil and paper and have a hardware store cut you a new piece of mirror.
If it's the heated kind, talk to the Toyota dealer.
