Momo Shift Knob Matters.

Hello! I really want to change the 2009 Corolla S's gearshift knob (manual transmission) to a Momo one. But I don't know which would fit perfectly so that I wouldn't have to change the stock leather skirt of the gearshift. Any ideas on this?

Momo among many other major companies make universal products. Get a universal one and even if, just return. Hope that helps.

which knob does your s have? many of them came with the plain knob that comes on the base corolla, but some with right package came with the knob that comes in the xrs manual like this:

i know this isnt helpful if your heart is set on a momo knob, but i think that knob looks great. if you dont have that one, then its a great solution since it is a stock knob. if that is the one your car came with and you want to dump it, let me know.

I have the 09 XRS with the knobb you display above, but i wouldn't mind changing it to a MOMO one...give it a different touch...do you think the installation and effort would be improportional to the style benefits?

i dont think any aftermarket shift knob wud fit perfectly on our cars (xrs/s) without changing the leather skirt and removing the shift boot retainer. i've tried it. i have a trd carbon fibre shift knob that fits perfectly over the stock one without any changes. but i've changed back to my stock one now because of my twm shoft shifter. so now i am selling my trd one cause i dont think its of any use to me. refer to my other thread for details. so i have a shift knob AND i also have a momo shift boot that i am not using. if u want either one lemme know.

I put a King knob (momo) replacing the 'leather'/plastic knob my '10 S came with. World of difference in shifting, but you have to macgyver a boot solution on your own. installation is easy and fast.
