Gearshift Knob Change?

Anyone know any good-looking knobs for the 09 Corolla? I don't want to change the leather skirt of the lever... just the knob. I went to momo sites and I think they won't look perfect.

I've seen very very few aftermarket knobs that actually look like a good fit with any car. Most of the time, it turns out too flashy for its own good.

I'm thinking of the Scion's tC's OXD shift knob.

The one in the middle. What do you think?

I'm not sure if that would fit nicely on the Corolla. The bottom part should be flared so you'd cover the part where the leather boot ends. I'll take a picture of it later and post it here so you'll understand what I mean.

I have on order from SFX Performance the Razo RA108 wood grain that I have on my Rondo and highly recommend it @ about $58 out the door/easy application on many makes-my 09 Rolla will be lit up by this mod as ash gray int. rather unremarkable 'til this knob/dashmat [hopefully being designed as I type!!]are applied.Hope you try-very handsome...also, I put on wheelskin[gray-europerf] steering wheel cover.

Okay. Finally changed it. I'll get better pics tomorrow. It's unscrewed well in these pictures.

I thought I had seen some S models with a leather knob in them, yours isn't. Wonder if it's an option or something.

In any case, the tC ones looks decent, though I'm not a big fan of most aftermarket knobs.

The S comes with knob that's like rubber. I don't know the material. But I don't think it's leather. The XRS comes with half leather and half aluminum.

I changed it to the tC knob by OXB. It's a bit too much... but hell, I still love it!!

Maybe it's a US thing? I test drove a Canadian-spec Corolla S and it had a leather-wrapped shift knob.

I wonder how the people who are in charge of doing market studies here in the US think that Americans wouldn't like leather shift knobs.

Maybe there's a higher percentage of people here who are allergic to leather.

since I just got my XRS 5 speed, definitely can verify that the shifter is half-leather, half something else. Will be taking the car home so I'll see if the TRD one fits.

What can I say... I'm loving my shift knob. It's cold to the touch when it's cold outside and scalding hot when it's hot outside! Gives feeling to the car. You feel what it feels.
