XRS Seats

Does anyone have experience with both the "S" and "XRS" seats? I find the lower back support in the "S" seats almost non existent. You can lightly push on the lower back area and feel something hard like a bar or active headrest part? The side bolster isn't the best either. Are the "XRS" seats the same as the "S" seats?

I had a CE and an S Corolla in the past. The S seems to use a rougher fabric while the CE and the LE has a softer one. I liked the CE's, although I think the S has a more stain resistant fabric.

Nothing compares to the Alcantara seats of my Scion. That alone sold me.

The XRS seats are different from the rest of the lineup. They're "sport seats" so they have extra side bolstering and look "chunkier". Can't say anything about the lower back since I haven't sat in one.

The hard bar is probably the bar to move the headrest (yeah so the active headrest bit)

The seats are fine for the S... nothing special. I don't notice any back support either... but I don't need one, too, I guess.

I've spent quite a bit of time in my XRS but not much if any in an S model, so I don't really have much to compare it to, but I do like the seats in my 86 Corolla better than in my 09. Of course the Supra seats are nicer as well, but that's a given, lol.

I'll see about checking out some S seats tomorrow at work, but I'm sure you can probably drop by a dealer and sit in both as well .
