for a strange weird reason my right back speaker sounds distorted, anyone knows how to replace back speakers?

You should try to bring it back to the dealer and see if they'd replace it for ya under warranty.

yeah.... Gen X's aren't that old. Warranty should cover it.

if you plan to upgrade your sound system, this is the perfect time.

speakers are probably made in Mexico or China, unfortunately all manufacturers chose the cheaper deal when they buy their parts, of course that also includes Toyota.

Yeah, my speaker system sounds crappy too. I will wait until someone provides photographic installation steps.

Does anyone even know what size speakers these car use? I'm assuming 6x9 in the back and 5.25s in the door but I can't find any place that specifically says.

Have you guys heard JBL system in the new Corolla?? How does it sound compared to stock?

I have heard of the JBL system in the Prius... which I assume is the same. It sounds nice. Very clear and whole.

They are not the same JBL system.

JBL in the Corolla is very very nice which was very surprising. I could've sworn it had a sub, but it doesn't. Very rich sounding but not Mark Levinson.

well the warranty covers it, but im thinking of getting better speakers, i was looking on how to replace the rear speakers but i am clueless, didnt saw any screws to take out
