How to open my dome lights?

Planning to change my stock bulbs to LED's but I do not know how to open the thing to take my bulbs out. Does anyone know how to open it?? I drive an 09 corolla S. Btw does anyone know the bulb number and type for the dome light as well? Thanks!

just pry it open with your fingers. i used my nails to get between the liner and i worked it out slowly. it is held in by plastic tabs so be careful not to crack it. bulb...163 or 168, i dont know. it only said 12v5a on it. i took it out of my g35's corner marker. works fine.

I changed both the dome and the map lights.

I admit I was a little stumped and worried I'd break the map lights.

I started one side with a mini flathead screwdriver. started from the back side outside edge. I was able to pry it out a little to see where the catches were and I used the SD to apply a little pressure to get it started. Once the first one was released they all popped off fairly easily with some patience.

I was not able to unhook the front edge, but I was able to extract the bulb and replace it with a little finesse.
