ABOUT XM radio, Rear Speakers (2009xrs)

Hey,

I own a coralla 09 XRS, Now I have a few question,

These are:

1- What do I need for a XM Ready Coralla? (is there something I need to hook up?

2 - For my Rear Speakers which are 6 x 9's, I notice THAT all I may need is a swear driver. Once I get the back off.

Hello,

XM ready only means that your head unit (radio) can be hooked up to an XM unit and that the antenna is on the roof. You can have the dealer install for $600.00. or you can buy the parts on the internet for about $250.00 and install yourself. You will need the XM unit and a fit kit. Sorry I do not have the part numbers. If I find them I will posst them for you.

I chose not to spend the money and bought a unit with a car kit on ebay for less then 10.00. It plugs into your Aux. outlet. and sounds great.

If you want value for your dollars do not replace the rear speakers (yet) they only add some base and dimention to the sound system. Instead repalce the front speakers in the door. I did this with the intention of replacing the rear speakers later and still haven't replaced the back ones.

If you want deals on your subscription to XM go to retailmenot.com and get the discount codes before you subscribe.

I used the one for three free months and it worked perfectly.
