**update**

Hey guys, I FINALLY picked up my S yesterday from the dealer and I LOVE it!!

I have been playing with the iPod kit a bit and I must say it did take me a bit to figure out some of the more advanced functions (choosing what play mode, selecting a playlist, etc).

I am happy to report that I do not have the issue of having to disconnect and reconnect my iPod. I actually didn't even think about that whole thing until this morning. I realized I had been turning on my key and waiting a few seconds before starting the car, and having my iPod fire up when I turn on the key, and start playing right after starting the engine. I did not need to disconnect/reconnect it at all.

I am not sure if this is because the kit is different or what, but wanted to give an update to this situation. I have the base radio for the S model (single-disc 6-speaker).
