I just put in an alpine cde-102 and 2 kicker comps powered by a fosgate 500 watt amp. Those subs are so louuuuuddd in my car. and the head unit i put in yesterday makes the stock stero SOOOOOO much louderrr. Just thought id post this thread so every one could see what subs and this head unit look in car. if you have any question feel free to ask

Is that the Metra dash kit? Also did you run into any problems running the wires or was it fairly straight forward?

Nice fireworks btw. I live in a state where they are illegal

Nice head unit. Not especially impressed with your subs (sonically speaking). But as you long as you're happy, keep grooving.

Are you worried about blowing the stock speakers?

If this economy ever picks up I intend to put a double DIN unit in mine.

running the power wire will involve drilling if you are planning on running 0 gauge like me. there is a patch behind the fuse box by the steering wheel, remove it and start drilling. the rest will be straight forward.

sonicelectronix.com gives you a free dash kit and harness with a purchse of a headunit. they asked me for an extra $6, but hey, its cheaper than buying the dash kit and harness. and the harness i believe is the same in all the corolla years.
