Question Pioneer cd-iu200 Ipod cable and glove box access?

Hello
I have a 2009 Rolla with a Pionneer AVH-P4100DVD installed,I am using my Ipod Touch with the ordinary white USB cable and I can use everything but not the videos which need the cable cd-iu200v,all I want to know is how easy would it be to plug this cable from the glove box?
Is it easy to take off the glove box so I can access the rear of the car radio and plug the cable without taking off the whole dashboard?

All that hold the upper glove box in are a couple of clips and a few screws that you need to remove. But to easily access the back of the radio, i do suggest you pull the radio out also, unless you have small hands.

Depending on how your head unit is installed, you may not have to take out any of your dash. I added my iPod plug and play (the one that came with the head unit, not through the Aux port built in) to the back of the head unit through the glove box. All I had to do was pull my head unit straight out from the mounting kit and there was enough room in the glove box that I could feed the wire through to the back of the head unit easily. Now my iPod connector is in the glove box. Does that make sense? Now that I read over it, it really doesn't..haha. If not, I can take a picture if it would help.

And apart videos what could I gain from this cable?
The actual cable I use is giving me lot of controls on Audio, the artwork reproduction on the Pioneer screen whoever are horrible! Will it improves this or it has nothing to give more than video transfer?
