Husky Floor Liners Vs WeatherTech Floor Liners NEED PICS
Title.
Debating WeatherTech vs Husky for the driver's foot well.
I need to know if the Husky Liners go higher than the Weather Tech under the pedals, if they cover the side carpet like the WeatherTech and if they cover the foot rest area. Also, are the Husky Liners held with the factory hooks?
I'd love to see pictures of the driver's side for the Husky liners!
I recently purchased the Weahertech Floor Liners at my Local Toyota Dealership for about $164 with a 15% discount (coupon from dealership)
I have a '09 S manual transmission. WeatherTech states that there will be issues with the clutch, but so far I've had no problems, I can still press the clutch down all the way when I start the car or shift up/down between gears.
I've got the husky liners and i must say they're great and fitment is PERFECT(i have an auto). It covers pretty much everything that the weathertechs covers (i.e side pedal, etc). I would say visually its pretty much an identical product. I'll have some pics later on tonight when i go to work. The only thing is that it covers the trunk and gas door latch. But it comes measured and almost precut so you can do it yourself (ill show you when i post pics).
For the price of $101 shipped including both front and rear, i love my huskys!

i'm wondering if you have taken pictured already of your floor mats. I'm debating weather tech vs husky. I want to know if your husky covers the side carpet and the footrest on the front driver side.
Thanks!
no problem man. Dont know about the weathertechs but the husky's fit perfectly. The the drivers side does cover the footrest and come up about 2 inches on the sides for all of them. If you had your floor modified already then the husky's may not be a perfect fit around the pedal area.
They're pretty durable too and dont move around at all. I checked my carpets the last time i cleaned the car and i didnt even need to vacuum them. Oh yeah, the back liner is a 1 piece- it goes all the way across. Anyways heres some pics (its been raining recently so therefore the dirtiness lol).
Overall
footrest
pedal area
front passenger side
rear liners

I have the Husky Liner's in my 05 Highlander and WeatherTech's in my 09 Corolla. I must say that I prefer how Husky handles the dead-pedal and trunk/gas-lid release areas. The WeatherTech's don't do as good of a job preventing contaminants from reaching the carpet in those areas. The WeatherTech's only cover half of the dead-pedal and the lip around the release levers is too low. That being said, they both provide excellent protection compared to other options.
wow, i was thinking weather techs all the way, but this thread has led me to sway to husky! I like how it completely covers the foot rest "pedal". They are cheaper to boot!
Husky's from PartsGeek- 91.98 + 12.95 Shipping= 104.93
^ Look for the sites coupons online and it'll be cheaper.
So does anyone have the Husky liners with a manual? They only list the AT on that site.

Don't be alarmed by that
My Local Toyota Dealer had WT, asked him if there would be a problem with the manual and said nothing, On the site it said it was only available for automatic.
So there might be a slight chance that they can work for a manual.
