This is what happens when you're turning left and the guy behind you in the GMC Sierra can't stop in time. It's a write off.

Thinking of getting a 2011 in blue or black. At least I'll get satellite radio and bluetooth out of the trade I guess.

I just changed the oil too. Figures.

Sad to see an Edmonton member lost their ride......we just got too many stupid drivers in town think all wheel drive can help them stop quicker too!

How did you fare? How is your neck/back...a rear ender on that side and you felt the full impact compared to getting hit in the middle or on the passenger side.

It was west of the city, just south of Stony Plain, where two secondary highways meet.

Not sure how fast he was going but it must have been in the neighbourhood of 70-80, whereas I was doing probably 30-40 to make the turn. Car spun two or three times before hitting the windrow sideways.

Crash was on a Monday, neck and back hurt on Wednesday/Thursday but I seem fine now, so hopefully I won't have any problems. All that crumpling did its job I guess.

And sorry guys, no parts available, insurance company owns it now.

Okay, so I really want to do this to my car but I'm not sure if I have to go buy a truck or if I could just use a big hammer and get the same effect? A write up would be nice with step by step pics
