I did even better. When I was in school and had no money but wanted rice, I heated them up and tucked the wheels. But of course, the ride was just garbage!

I have B&Gs now, and I have cut them only because you can with these ones. Dual rates with lowering coils and main coils for ride. I cut off a lowering coil (which does not affect ride).

If you do decide to do it, don't cut off more than one coil, and don't cut off partial coils.
