BTW, the '97 service intervals are "severe" service and the '98 intervals are "regular" use. I chose to replace my Timing belt at 150,000 km as per the '98 service schedule since it's the same engine and timming belt. The belt was in fine shape when I changed it, but no need to go anyfurther.. G.
