yer gonna need at least a full top end gasket kit for around $100. I recommend fel-pro. You should get the head pressure tested to make sure it isn't warped. While its out, might as well do the valve job. Pressure check and valve job should run around $140. Spend $12 and buy yourself a manual. This will give you complete instructions on finding TDC and making sure everything goes smooth. I don't think there's anything i am missing. If you don't know how long you are going to keep it then i would say do this. If you plan to keep the truck, rebuild the motor, its fun.
